For the record: it’s absolutely wonderful to encourage people to have a good body image, but you can’t blame a person for not having one. You can only encourage them to make healthy decisions.

But I’m too ashamed of my illness to tell teachers/professors why I missed an assignment, and half of those people wouldn’t “believe in” depression anyway, or think you should just “power through it.”
But hey, all the stigma surrounding mental illness is gone, right?
